A year has really passed in a swift as i remembered last year YingQin,Celine,XingErn and few others coming to my concert (first time seeing them in homeclothes lol) and having them support me though it wasnt being able to be made a batch outing.
Yeps, Chamber concert for this year comes up again, it will be great and i will GREATERLY appreciate if you guys can come. I will be playing in the woodwind ensemble (so as it is called CHAMBER MUSIC), we 'll play Debussy's Children's Corner and Girl with Flaxen hair (WOW) and a piece from poulence, all three French music, they creates a sense of fluidity and smoothness in the various lines by interweaving into each other. Instruments in the woodwind ensemble are Flutes,Oboes,Clarinets,Bassoons and French Horn. The concert also consist of percussion ensemble , string quartets and a brass ensemble pieces. There will also be a flute duet by two very very talented flautist from SNYO.
I can understand that it is our PT monsoon period and tests are also coming up, moreover the concert will start rather late at 8pm and it is on a weekday (Weds). Therefore i do know it is diffcult for all of you to devote time to watch the concert. Nonetheless, i feel it is a great opportunity and common ground both to showcase (for me and other performers) and to get exposed to more music works (everyone) in various forms beside concert band works and piano pieces. It will somehow enhance your understanding in music and also the appreciation to the beauty in both classical,romantic,20th if not even modern music works.
If circumstances allows, i would strongly encourage all of you to come and watch this concert, it will be held in esplanade recital studio, ticket priced at 4 bucks for a 1hr40mins concert on 5th Aug Weds.
Do tell me if you 'll be attending the concert so that i can purchase the tickets at one go. Thank you so much to all !
