Official Batch Outing

Hello!:)
So, it is confirmed that our batch outing will be on the 13th of December, next week Saturday. Apparently, that is the date with the best attendance.

Although I won't be coming for batch outing as I will be all the way at the other end of the world (><), I still managed to get some information from my brother on how to get to ECP. RI String Ensemble had their BBQ there and my brother still kept the information that one of the members sent out to all of them. So, I got it from him!:)

Bus Services to take to go east coast:
13, 16, 31, 36, 43, 48, 55, 76, 135, 196, 197

If coming from Bedok MRT, note the bus services:
31 from Exit A at Bedok MRT or 16, 196, 197 from Bedok Bus Interchange.
Number of bus-stops (EXCLUDING bus stop where you boarded) = 7th for all 3 services.
You will be alighting at MANDARIN GARDENS (a condo)
Note to people who have gone to VJC: this is 1 bus stop before VJC’s bus stop.


If coming from Eunos MRT, note the following services:
13-from exit directly facing carpark of Eunos MRT, walk to the Sims Road bus stop (aka 1st road) Number of bus-stops (EXCLUDING bus stop where you boarded) = 10th for service 13.
You will be alighting OPPOSITE MANDARIN GARDENS (a condo)
Note to people who have gone to VJC-this is 1 bus stop after VJC’s bus stop.
Now cross the road so that you are actually facing Mandarin Gardens.

Next, by now you should be facing Mandarin Gardens. Walk on the pavement separating Mandarin Gardens and Neptune Court (the condo on the right of Mandarin Gardens). Walk till you see an underpass, and go under it, when you resurface you should be at
East Coast Road Carpark D3
Now keep on walking till you see carpark D4 (which is at most 200 m from D3 (if you see carpark D2 you are heading in the wrong direction.) and keep on walking until you reach carpark D5. By now you should be seeing resort chalets with white walls. Keep to the pavement right beside the chalet and walk on, and you will enter East Coast Park.

I cut off the later part because the rest is just about the way to get to the BBQ pits. However, you all won't be BBQ-ing so I figured it's of no use.
For those who are not too sure how to get to ECP, I hoped this post helped!:)
